November 2, 2019 – Contract with Second Story Press signed! There’ll be a children’s picture book about my little doll that’s currently touring across Canada as part of Refuge Canada travelling exhibit @Pier21. From Halifax, NS to Brampton, ON and now in Medicine Hat, AB. She’s got a story 🙂
October 15, 2019 Double eeeek!!! I can’t believe “A Grain of Rice” has been nominated for the Red Maple Award!!! This means thousands of kids in Ontario will be reading the book as part of their Forest of Reading program, and that for me is beyond my wildest dream. I’m not sure how this little book even found its way onto a list of such heavyweight authors, but thank you again Michael Katz & Carol Franks, João Ferraz, and Tradewind Books team for taking a chance on me
