Royal Tour of Canada 2022
Still can’t believe this happened! All in one evening, I had the honour of speaking to and shaking the hands of Prince Charles, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Governor General Mary Simon!
I was an invited guest at the Platinum Jubilee reception at Rideau Hall (May 18, 2022), hosted by the Governor General of Canada, as part of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall’s 2022 Royal Tour of Canada. This reception marked Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee and her 70 years of service to Canada by bringing together Canadians from diverse backgrounds who dedicate themselves to the service of others and their communities. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine this. I feel so grateful for this opportunity.
